Stamped Diamond Cranes on black thin cs with Versamark and heat embossed in gold.

Cut up the diamonds and arranged as north, south, east, west on black cs.  Stamped again, this time with Black Ancient Page Dye Inkpad on red cs and put Spectrum over, heated with heat gun, cut up and layered with pop dots/sticky foam dots  (those that raise the image) between black and gold ones and touching points in the centre.

All images arranged so the Herons have feet pointing downwards [they are too delicate a bird to stand on their heads :)].

Put a thin gold line just inside the edge of the card (can either be a drawn line or peel offs).

Put Chinese Happiness symbol at bottom of card (again can be stamped or peel off).

Stamped Heron Diamonds on white cs with Black Ancient Page, put Spectrum over and heated.  Drew a thin gold line around edge of images with a gold crayon (to try to preserve some of the fronds between the diamonds because I love them).

Coloured images in with water colour crayons.  Cut around crayon line and mounted on a piece of red cs edged with gold Krylon pen.

On a piece of yellowy cream cs, stamped Chinese characters all over, masking out a small section at the right hand side.  (Again using Ancient Page).  Mounted the red cs with images on top fixing centrally over Chinese characters.

Took another piece of red cs, edged with gold Krylon, stamped or used peel offs (latter in my case) and mounted on plain side of cs.  This one says Love, Joy and Peace.

For this version of the Diamond Cranes, first stamp the image in Ancient Page Black on white cs and put clear embossing powder over and heatset.  Then stamp it again with Brilliance White and put Titanium White Opaque ep over and heatset.

Cut out the diamonds and select two white and two black images.  Arrange on gold cs and cut out leaving a small border.  Then layer on first black then white cs.   Affix collaged piece to black card.

With this method, you actually end up two cards from one operation.
