OnyxXpressions 2008 Stampers Calendar

OnyxXpressions is pleased to announce the early availability of the 2008 print-it-yourself "Stampers Gift Calendar" sold either by itself, or as a set with 3 mini-calendar stamps that are foam-cushioned, and include cling vinyl indexes and a polished acrylic block.

There was such a good response to this calendar last year, that many stampers asked for it to be made available earlier in the year to allow for planning, stamping and gift-giving for the upcoming holidays — just around the corner!

The "Stampers Gift Calendar" has been custom-sized to 5-1/2" wide by 8-1/2" tall to help keep costs and wasted stock at bay.

The eCalendar is designed to print on two sides and so that it can be coil-bound on the left vertical margin.

It is designed for you to print using your choice of cardstock colors and your own color printer. Full instructions for duplexing accompany each order.

Each left-hand side of every month has a place to jot thoughts or important info under "Special Notes."

This years calendar is designed in two beautiful colors: smoky plum and deep-teal. Note: The pale yellow background here is just for website display. There is no color background in your eCalendar.

"Why not offer it pre-printed, cut, collated, and spiral-bound already?" you may ask. Well, we checked numerous sources to do just such a thing — printed prices run from $15.54 up to $22.95 -- EACH!! Ouch! And that's if I could find someone to print it on a nice matte cardstock. Paper will not do for two-sided printing or stamping . . . inks will bleed right through the other side. Collating and binding add more cost, and certainly so does color.

So, since so many of us have photo printers, or color printers nowadays, it's more cost-effective to print your own in this case. Plus, if it's already coil-bound, then trying to stamp certain areas will prove to be very limiting, if not downright frustrating. It's better to stamp and embellish on a flat surface, then bind the finished product.

The "Stampers Gift Calendar" sold as a downloadable eCalendar is going for $6.95. You will receive a link and a password to open the OnyxXpressions 2008 eCalendar, as well as instructions on how to print both sides.

After printing, you'll use a paper cutter to directly halve each full sheet you print, turn the right batch over and place it behind the left batch -- and voila!! You'll have a collated, printed, beautiful calendar for you to start making art with. When you're through stamping your calendar, have it hole-punched and spiral bound at your favorite office-supply store. (I've found OfficeMax the most reasonably priced!)

Is $6.95 too much?? Just as a dollar-value comparison -- think of fast-food prices these days -- just for one lunch it could run more than $7.50! A calendar lasts ever-so much longer than one fast-food meal.

OnyxXpressions offers a 3-pce set of "mini-calendar stamps" all by themselves for $5.00 unmounted. The three stamps are: birthday, anniversary, and "social event" -- think Red Hat outing! With purchase of the eCalendar - either alone or as a set, you are entitled to print as many calendars as your schedule permits customizing. We ask that you not share the eCalendar with other folks, as that doesn't help the designer pay the bills......you know?
